Principal and teachers live on campus
At rural schools, it is common to provide housing for many of the teachers and the principal. EKHS recently added these accomodations as part of its program to become a top-tier school. There are now two apartment buildings (single story) for the high school teachers, in addition to a well-appointed Principal's house, large enough to hold a family. These facilities allow for recruitment and retention of excellent teachers and thereby improve the educational experience of the students.
