EBCCK doubles in size!
After operating on and improving the original 9-acre parcel for several years, EBCCK had established a positive relationship with the Kamonong community. A neighboring farmer approached the Elma Board of Directors and offered to sell them his adjacent parcel of 12 acres! Would they be able to take advantage of this God-given opportunity, on such short notice? EBCCK reached out to Walindwa and we were able to raise $35,000 in a few months, through donations from the Village Christian Foundation and Walindwa donors. With this new space, the farm acreage was increased, more cows were added and, most importantly, plans were created for a high school. Without that neighborly offer, the dream of Elma Kamonong High School would never have become a reality.
